Artful Holmes – Painter & Visual Storyteller
Jeffrey Holmes, a retired Navy veteran and local Ponte Vedra, FL. artist, earned his BFA from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco in 2021. He later established his art studio and secured representation at The Butterfield Garage Art Gallery in St. Augustine, FL.
Inspired by historic charm, natural light, and human stories, Jeffrey captures fleeting moments in oil paintings, transforming them into lasting memories. His process is intuitive, often working from photographs he personally shoots—some sparking immediate inspiration, others evolving over time through subtle edits.
With a deep commitment to creativity, Jeffrey continuously explores new ideas and collaborations, seeking to connect art with everyday life. His paintings tell stories beyond the canvas, inviting viewers to engage with nostalgia, place, and emotion.
